SMS Banking

       SMS Banking enables easy access to your account via your mobile phone.

Setting up SMS banking is simple but you’ll need to make sure you’re registered for Internet Banking or Phone Banking.

You can register your mobile number by logging into Internet Banking and selecting the SMS Banking menu option under Tools.

Alternatively you can register by calling 13 11 82 or by dropping into one of our branches.

On Demand Messages

SMS Banking is a 24/7 service which allows you to request messages displaying balances or transaction listings. To activate this feature, text the appropriate SMS command (listed below) to 0427 131 182.

On Demand Messages                                           
Balance Request  B * Balance of all accounts  
Balance Request  BX * Balance of all accounts from account number X  
Transaction Request T * List of most recent transactions on your first account  
 Transaction Request TX * List of most recent transactions on X account  

 * Additional Information
X = the position of your account as listed in Internet Banking and/or Phone Banking
All requests include as much information as will fit in 160 text characters.
Account information will be returned in the same order as they are listed on your membership in Internet Banking and/or Phone Banking.

Fees and Charges

You may be charged fees by your mobile provider.

Security and Privacy

When you register for the SMS Banking service you are authorising People's Choice Credit Union to send confidential account information to your mobile phone upon request. Once this SMS has been sent we are unable to control who has access to this information so you may want to delete the SMS after viewing in order to protect your privacy.
